Amanda Beth Myers

November 18, 1974 — September 5, 2022

Amanda Beth Myers, aged 47, passed away on September 5, 2022, at Benefis Healthcare after a short battle with leukemia. She was surrounded by family and friends.

Amanda was born on November 18, 1974, in Plattsburgh, NY to Carole (Napper) and Carl Collins. They were divorced and Carole married Gary O’Brien who was in the Air Force. They were stationed in the Netherlands on a NATO assignment. The whole family loved being there and took may trips all over Europe. The best trips were the ski trips to the German Alps. The family met a Dutch girl named Anette Kurvers and over time, she became part of the family. She was like the kids’ older sister/aunt. One of the last trips was to Egypt. Amanda talked about this trip many times and about what she saw and how great it was.

The family was assigned to Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls. Amanda graduated from Great Falls High School. After high school, she met and married Ted Myers. After they parted ways, she met the love of her life, George Allen. They had six children, Misty (who was still born), April, George the 10 th , Forest, John Danger, and Maximus.

Following in her dad’s footsteps, she worked in the food industry. Her first job was with Hardee’s. Then she was hired by Cambridge Court as a server. She moved up to Dining Service Director. When Cambridge closed, she moved over to the Iris where she had the same title. She talked endlessly about how much she loved the management, staff, and families she served.

We want to thank all the Iris family for the love and everything you did to help us get through this hard time.

Amanda was preceded in death by her parents, Carole O’Brien and Carl Collins; and Amanda and George’s oldest daughter, Misty Rain Allen. She is survived by her dad, Gary O’Brien; husband, George A. Allen the 9th; daughter, April R. Allen; sons, George E. Allen the 10 th , Forest H. Allen, John Danger Allen, and Maximus E. Allen; and Amanda’s first grandson, Leon Allen.

Amanda was cremated and there will be no services.
