Arnold Harris, 91, of White Sulphur Springs, passed away at Fort Harrison, in Helena, Montana on December 5, 2017. A graveside service with military honors will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Mayn Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs. He was born October 16, 1962, in Salmon, Idaho.He is the son of Frank and Minnie Harris. Arnold received his education in Salmon Idaho and joined the Navy during World War II.He served in the Navy for four years as a mechanic and gunner. After discharge, he returned to Salmon.He later married Bonnie Lykens in 1947. Most of his life he was a truck driver and was a logger later on. He then went to work at the refuse site in White Sulphur Springs, retiring in 2015. He belonged to the Mountain View Community Church in White Sulphur Springs. Arnold is survived by his two sons Frank Harris, Arnold (Chong) Harris Jr., and Robert Brickson; daughters Catherine A. (Ralph) Weber and Connie Ellsworth; brother Gene Harris; and 14 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie who passed January 17, 2014.
