Ashley Evone Day

Ashley Evone Day was born on August 10, 1989, in Great Falls to Barry Jon Day and was gifted with a Bonus Mom later in life with Penny Sykes Day.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at O’Connor Memorial Chapel with a reception to follow. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Ashley was born with Microcephaly that made life a little more of a challenge for her. She attended Great Falls Public Schools and graduated from Great Falls High School in 2010. After high school, Ashley attended Easter Seals and they became her “other family.” She loved the time that she spent there and riding the “Bus.”

She loved food, music and dancing, taking road trips with Mom and Dad, bling, and getting her nails done. One of the most important things to Ashley was her clothes. She was the envy of everyone at Easter Seals for her colorful shirts and leggings. She was a social butterfly for sure. She was shy to strangers, but to friends and family when she entered the room, she let you know that she had arrived. Ashley was always pleased to see you with an exclamation, “You’re here!”

Ashley is survived by her mom, Penny Day; sister, Tabatha (Dale) Moore; favorite niece, Peyton Barry Moore; grandfather, Gene Patton; grandmother, Donna Baroch; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her dad, Barry Jon Day.

Memorials in her honor may be sent to Montana Special Olympics, Peace Hospice, or a charity of the donor's choice.
