Barbara "Fay" Marsh

Barbara “Fay” Marsh, 85, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 after a battle with cancer. A memorial service will be planned for later this spring.Arrangements are in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home. Fay was born May 12, 1932 near Lewistown in Fergus County MT and adopted by Willard and Ivy Haefer. She attended schools in Great Falls and earned her Nursing Degree at Montana State College in Great Falls. Fay was married to Miles Marsh and they raised three children in Billings. She was a nurse for 40 years and founded and operated a medical insurance processing company for 13 years. Fay was very involved in civic activities. She was a proud 60 year member of Beta Sigma Phi, past Matron of Order of the Eastern Star, past Queen of Bathzzabbia Temple, and Daughter of the Nile. She was board member for HRDC (35 years), Council of Aging (15 years), and chaired United Way in 1980. Fay was also Concert Mistress of Bozeman Symphony in 1955. She was a member of the Church of Good Shepherd from 1959 to present. Fay is survived by her husband Miles Marsh; sons Greggory (Jinger) Marsh and Bradley (Robin) Marsh; brothers Wayne Haefer and Dale Haefer; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Robin Louise Marsh. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials in her honor to a donor of your choice.
