Beulah “Boots” Biegalke, 91, of Stanford, died November 24, 2017 in the Great Falls Hospice House from pneumonia. Her funeral will be on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11 am at First Presbyterian Church in Stanford.Lunch will be served in the church center following the service.Interment will be in the Benchland Community Cemetery in Stanford on Friday afternoon. Boots was born December 26, 1925 in Ney, Ohio to Burton Royal and Beulah Jarrard, where her father worked for the phone company.Boots graduated from Bowling Green University where she majored in Biology. She moved to Chester, Montana where she taught school and met Francis. They married in 1950 and farmed and ranched together for most of the rest of their lives. Boots was an avid reader, cook and gardener and liked to travel and see new things; she had an adventuresome spirit. She was a member of the Stanford library board for several years and continued to participate in the reading program there.She loved to bake treats for the kids. She is survived by her children Michael of Camas, Washington, Bonita of Boise, Idaho, and Collette of Plant City, Florida; and three grandchildren.
