Beverly Jean Collins, 86, of Great Falls passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at a local hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling services. Beverly was born on June 15, 1929 to Albert and Anna Woodside in Butte, Montana. She was raised in the area and graduated from Butte High School in 1947. She went on to receive her associate’s degree in nursing. She then started working as a phone operator before moving on to being a waitress. Beverly also worked at Target as a cashier and worked as a greeter at Walmart. She was a life member of VFW post 5590 (1087) and was a volunteer at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center for five years. Beverly enjoyed doing paint by number pictures and latch hook. Beverly is survived by her daughters, Mary Kay (John) Wisman, Cheryl (Sid) DiSalvatore, Chandra (Mike) Parry, Kathleen Monday, Barbara (Alfred) McGillis, and Michelle (Kevin) McGillis; son Gary W. (Nola) Parry; sister Shirley McLaughlin; brother Donald (Ginnie) Woodside; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Arthur “Bus” (Ginnie) Woodside; sister Dorothy Riley; brothers-in-law Vince Riley and Clarence McLaughlin; grandson Sidney Smith; ex-husbands Sidney Parry and Earl Collins Jr.
