Beverly A. Mills

Beverly Ann (Porter) Mills, 66, of Sun Prairie passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 after battling cancer for over a year at Benefis Hospital. Graveside memorial services will be held Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 2 pm at the Hillview Cemetery in Hinsdale, MT with a luncheon gathering to follow at the Hinsdale Legion Hall. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. Bev was born on November 18, 1947 in Williston, ND but was raised in Beaverton, MT. She received her diploma from Hinsdale High School and went on to attend Billings Business College where she received her business degree. Bev was married to Dennis R. Mills, Sr., and together they moved throughout the United States and Spain due to Dennis’s service in the United States Air Force. Their final retirement location is in Sun Prairie near Great Falls. They remained inseparable for over 47 years of marriage. Bev’s passion was playing golf. She was anxiously waiting for “good” weather to get her t-time in but was very disappointed when her body was too weak to go. Bev is survived by her husband, Dennis R. Mills Sr. of Sun Prairie; son Dennis R Mills Jr. of Great Falls; grandsons Douglas, Ryan, Trevor, and Devon all of Great Falls; brothers Bill and Laurie of Kent, WA and Gary and Debbie of Manhattan; sister Pattie of Las Vegas, NV; several nieces and nephews; and wonderful neighborhood friends in Sun Prairie that supported her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Betty Porter; a mother-in-law; and a brother-in-law.
