Bobby Ray Conley

Bobby Ray Conley, 84, of Highwood, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the Highwood Community Center. Bobby was born on September 28, 1937, in Halo, KY to Arnett and Mavis “Opal” (Johnson) Conley. He joined the US Air Force and retired after 23 years of service. He also worked at IFG Leasing and the Buttrey’s Warehouse where he was a computer programmer and operator. He worked on many local farms in the Montana area after leaving Buttrey’s. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Highwood. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, pestering his wife, and driving in his 66 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser. Bobby is survived by his wife, Barbara Conley; sons, David (Lisa), Douglas (Janette), and Dwayne (Lea) Conley; sisters, Pauline, Sherlene, Kathleen, and Maureen; brothers, Jimmy “Red” and Ronny; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and family friends, Samantha, Jenny, Sarah and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Christine.
