Caleb Luke Putnam, 24, went to live with the Lord on Saturday, December 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Augusta Youth Center with burial to follow at the Augusta Cemetery. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Caleb was born on May 19, 1991 in West Virginia to Robert Clayton and Jenny Lou Putnam. He was one of eight children. Caleb was a ranch hand on the Manley Ranch in Drummond and was a cowboy to the core. He was the husband of Katelyn Putnam. They spent the last six years together; three and a half of those as husband and wife. Caleb belonged to the Augusta Baptist Church. He had a passion for God, his job, being a husband and father, playing music, and being outdoors. Caleb is survived by his wife, Katelyn Putnam; daughters Kaysea Randolph (4) and Aspyn Putnam (3); and son Dean Putnam (2); his father, mother, and seven siblings. His life was cut short in a car accident. Caleb will be remembered for his zest for life, love for God and family, amazing sense of humor, and the laughter he brought to everyone surrounding him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of donor’s choice.
