Carl Grainger

Carl Duane Grainger, 81, of Cut Bank, formerly of Hamilton, passed away of natural causes on January 9, 2014 at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral home. Per Carl’s request there will be no service. Carl was born January 1, 1933 in Glendive to Carl Martin Grainger and Ella Young Eiker. He graduated from high school in Billings. Carl served in the Army during the Korean War. He received medals from the Alaskan Warfare Training and Marksmanship. He was an expert in Shotokan martial arts, a professional photographer, and owned his own printing business in Hamilton for many years. Carl loved fishing and hunting throughout the years. Carl is survived by his son Brian Carl Grainger; daughter Veronica Maria Grainger; brother Stan (Betty) Grainger; along with one nephew, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
