Carol A. Volk ,76, passed away on January 21, 2019. Cremation has taken place. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. A celebration of life will occur in the Spring/Summer. Carol was born May 6, 1942 in Cut Bank, MT. Growing up, she enjoyed fishing and watching old movies at the theatre where she worked. Carol earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and had a long term career with Kraft Foods until she retired. Carol married the love of her life, Thomas Volk, who passed away in 2003. She enjoyed reading, watching her grandkids play sports, and going to the casino. Carol is survived by her sons, Chris and Pete Rambo; daughters Yvette Rambo and Janet Hamilton; 10 grandchildren, three of which she raised, Gina Smith, Damian (Catrina) Russell, and Mityah (Terrance) Thornton; her seven other grandchildren include Ashley Chambers, Shawn Rambo and Patrick Rambo, Christina, Rachel, Antonio, Leyba and Dexter Dubois; great-grandchildren whom she was able to spend frequent time with, Autumn, Anatashia, Alazhia, Annesa, Etchie Smith Jr.,Brittany,Tiler, JoshuaHunter, Ella Russell, and Serenity, Aiyanna, Tadan, and Tamerah. She has five additional great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; brothers Poke, Kenneth, and Dan Gardipee; sisters Janeth Schmidt and Vivian Harrington; and her very close friend, Dolly Wojciechowski. She was preceded in death by husband Thomas Volk; parents Jerome and Mildred Gardipee; daughter Eva Russell; brother Paul Gardipee; sister Patricia Hughes; and grandson Eloi Rambo Leyba.
