Cheryl Ann Robinson

August 4, 1957 — November 12, 2021

Cheryl Ann Robinson, 64, passed away November 12, 2021, in Great Falls, Mt. A celebration honoring her life will be held at a later date. Cheryl was born in Reno, Nevada, August 4, 1957, to William and Shirley Robinson. She had 2 sisters and 2 brothers of whom she ran herd on as children. Cheryl was the boss in her parents' absence at home while growing up and her siblings knew it. She and her siblings came to Montana from California early in life, but Montana was to remain her home until her death. After graduating from Cut Bank High School in 1976, Cheryl became a nurse's aide. In 1978, she moved to Havre with her sister Debbie and worked at Northern Montana Hospital as a ward clerk. In 1981, Cheryl married and soon after she became the mother of two, Andrea and Jonathan . In the early 90s, after her divorce, Cheryl pursued a new career in banking and eventually worked her way up to branch manager at First Liberty Credit Union in Cut Bank. She loved working at 1st Liberty, and she enjoyed the connection she had with her employees and members. Cheryl always had an immense amount of respect for others, and it was obvious that this was mutual at the credit union. For approximately 15 years Cheryl managed First Liberty Credit Union but due to health issues she had to resign. Her new life revolved around her children and eventually her granddaughter, Emberleigh. She loved spending time with "baby" and the glow on her face when she spoke of her was undeniable. Cheryl also had a passion for cooking and if you were lucky enough to receive a hot dish or plate of her wares you would agree she was a fantastic cook. She loved sharing the bounty she created in the kitchen with others; especially those in need. Many times, Cheryl would take huge portions of food and distribute them to those in need. It bothered her immensely to know someone was hungry or going without. In 2018, after living in Missoula and Great Falls for several years Cheryl returned to Cut Bank. She had a beautiful home and continued pursuing her passions of cooking, crocheting, and sewing. She rescued two more cats, Evelyn and Mr. Bibs who joined Madison who was 23 when Cheryl passed. She was content and satisfied with her life and looking forward to "sitting on the porch in her rocking chair" in her golden years. Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Andrea (Dustin) Bruyer and granddaughter, Emberleigh; son, Jonathan Graves; sisters, Mary Cooper and Deborah (Kelvin) Hansen; brothers, Bill Robinson and Richard Robinson; and several loving friends. Cheryl was preceded by her father, William and mother, Shirley. Please donate to the local food bank or animal rescue in Cheryl's name.
