They divorced in 1977 and Clark continued to live and work in Choteau. He worked in various fields - delivery, bartending, special needs care giver, and primarily maintenance. Clark remarried in 1996 for a brief period and eventually relocated to Great Falls in 2003. Clark enjoyed reading and puzzle books, especially word searches. He will be remembered for his impeccable penmanship, his distinctive laugh, and his sense of humor which he maintained despite several tragic events that impacted his life. Clark’s last residence was the Meadowlark Assisted Living Facility which quickly became ‘home’ and he was considered ‘The Voice’ of the house by both the staff and residents, who will all continue to feed the squirrels for him. Clark is survived by his son, Jason Russell of Brinnon, WA; grandson, Nathen (Mariah) Russell of Choteau; three great-granddaughters, Emma, Olivia, and Harper; and a great-grandson, Colter, on the way; siblings, Kalu (Doug) George of Great Falls, Scott Russell of Jacksonville, FL, and Gloria (Gary) Davis of Choteau; and a niece and great-niece. The family is finding comfort that Clark is no longer in pain and has been reunited with those who preceded him in death, his parents; his first and enduring love June Russell-Swartz; and his beloved daughter, Collete. At his request no services will be held and the family will scatter his ashes privately at a later date.So tell a joke, laugh, and raise a toast in memory of Clark ‘Turk’ Russell.
