Clark Stuart Whitcomb

Clark “Stuart” Whitcomb, 93, of Great Falls, passed away after a long full life on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. No services are planned at this time per his wishes. Stuart was born on November 2, 1928, in Conrad, MT to Tim and Mary (Bernice Johnson) Whitcomb. He went to Birch Creek and Valier Elementary school.He attended Shattuck Military School in Fairbault, MN from 1942-1946. After graduating he went on to attended Amherst College, University of Montana and the University Of Puget Sound. He later returned to Montana and spent many years farming and ranching both cattle and sheep plus later was a property manager. He loved bird watching, hunting, caning and refinishing furniture, plus traveling the United States and South America. Stuart is survived by his daughters Gaile Budell and Nancy Willis; step-daughters, Colette Briden, Gwenna Widhalm, and Diane VanNess; sons, Randy and Jack Whitcomb. He also had many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Corrine, Helen, and Elna; and three infant sons.
