Clinton L. “Clint” Dumas, 66, of Havre, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls. A graveside service with military honors will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Highland Cemetery in Havre. Cremation has taken place in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home. Clint was born May 2, 1951 in Havre, MT, the son of Forrest and Marian (Seidel) Dumas.He attended schools in Havre and graduated from Havre High School in 1969.Clint worked various jobs before entering the U.S. Navy in 1971 serving on the USS Sea Wolf.Following his discharge in July of 1977, he returned to work at the family ranch on Big Sandy Creek. He met Gwen Struck and later married June 7, 1986 at First Lutheran Church in Havre.Clint worked odd jobs before going to work for the Hill County Road Department.Clint retired in August 2015 and continued to live in Havre. Clint is survived by his wife Gwendolyn (Struck) Dumas of Havre; brother Calvin Dumas of Arizona; two nieces and three nephews; and numerous cousins, aunts, and three uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents.
