Connie R. Kunesh

April 25, 1945 — August 15, 2016

Connie Rae (Thompson) Kunesh, 71, passed into the arms of the Lord on Aug. 15, 2016 at a local care facility. Born on April 25, 1945 in the Old Columbus Hospital to Raymond and Barbara Thompson, she grew up in Great Falls attending local schools and graduating from Great Falls High School in 1963. On June 20, 1964, she married the love of her life Albert Kunesh. They enjoyed 50 wonderful years of marriage before her sudden illness. Connie wore many hats over the years and was always up for a new challenge. She was secretary for Carl Weissman and Sons, a greenhouse owner/operator (CR Tomato and Pepper Plants) and, most of all, a great homemaker, loving daughter, sister, mother and wife. She was also a member of the D.O.E.S. at the Elks Club for many years. She enjoyed bowling, was an exceptional seamstress, and an avid animal lover. She played piano and accordion by ear for many years. Her numerous talents were unparalleled, and she strived for perfection in all aspects of her life. Connie is survived by husband Al (Great Falls), brother Thomas Thompson (Wild Rose, Wis.) granddaughter Brianna (Kunesh) Poitra (Great Falls), brother-in-law Robert Thamon (Minn.), her extended Kunesh family, nieces, nephews, and several close friends. She was predeceased by her parents and son Bryan Neil Kunesh. There will be no services per Connies request. A celebration of life will be announced later. Cremation has taken place under the direction of OConnor Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Connies name can be made to Peace Hospice of Montana, 1101 26th St. S. in Great Falls.
