Dalyce attended Great Falls High School where she graduated in 1965. She then went on to study for one year at Concordia and finished her degree at the University of Montana in Missoula. Dalyce met Ted Flynn while interviewing for the Air Force ROTC auxiliary marching team in 1967 where she was selected for the Angel Flight team. They were married on July 13, 1968 at Faith Lutheran Church. Shortly after their marriage, Ted was deployed to Okinawa to serve at Kadeena Air Base where Dalyce accompanied him from 1969-1972. Dalyce enjoyed her time in Okinawa where she taught piano to local children and discovered her love of fabrics and sewing. Ted and Dalyce then returned to Townsend to operate the Flynn Ranch. In 1975 Dalyce welcomed her first son Warren, followed in 1979 by her son Eric. During this time Dalyce dedicated her time to helping develop, plan, and fund the Broadwater Health Center. Dalyce was also one of the founders of the original High Country Cattle Drive and enjoyed interacting with guests from all over the world. After divorcing in 1999, Dalyce moved to Bozeman where she pursued her passions of Ballroom Dancing and interior design. In 2010 Dalyce moved back to Great Falls to help her aging mother who passed in 2013. Dalyce remained in Great Falls and fought a courageous battle with breast cancer. Dalyce enjoyed spending time in the yard growing her wonderful zinnias, sweet peas and evening primrose. She loved to read, spend time with her children and grandchildren, and played the piano beautifully. Dalyce is survived by her brother Delbert (Buddy), her sons Warren (wifeBecky), and Eric (wifeAshley), and 4 grandchildren, Cassidy, Colby, Hudson, and Quinten. She was preceded in death by her parents Kathryn and Delbert.
