David "Dave" Lee Belcher

David “Dave” Lee Belcher, 58, of Great Falls, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Veteran’s Memorial Park. Dave was born on December 10, 1963, in Fullerton, California to Harry Belcher and Dorlyn Milam. He graduated from Grants Pass High School in Grants Pass, Oregon before enlisting in the US Army. He spent 14 years in the Army and was a Bradley Fighting Vehicle Instructor before being honorably discharged on March 20, 1997. He went to work at White’s Inc for 4 years. He helped volunteer at the annual Veteran’s Standdown, as well as Vets4Vets. Everyone loved seeing him, his presence lit up a room just like his jokes. He carved ostrich/emu eggs, loved fishing, spending time with his daughter, Katherine. She was his world. He also liked going on drives, helping others, being with his dog, Spirit, and was good at every sport. Dave is survived by his daughter, Katherine Belcher; father, Harry Belcher; and brothers, Tom and Ken Belcher. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorlyn Milam; and daughters, Laura and Victoria Belcher. He was a kind, misunderstood, caring man. He had a heart of gold and so much love to give. He was my best friend and my rock. He will be missed by so many.
