Deegan Tyler Wills, 7, of Great Falls, passed away on April 17, at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital in Spokane, WA. Deegan’s Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 27th at 2 pm at Paris Gibson School Gymnasium (2400 Central Avenue) with a reception to follow in the cafeteria.There will be a private visitation room available for guests from 1pm on. Deegan was a loving, gregarious boy who absolutely loved all sports, both watching and playing. He was a champion Rug Rat Wrestler, an exceptional football player with the Salvation Army Flag Football League and a gifted baseball player on one of the Americans teams. Deegan attended Lincoln Elementary School. He loved his teacher and classmates and had a passion for learning. He had just completed his Wolf rank in Pack 7 and loved the outdoors. Fishing, camping and playing in the water were some of his favorite summer activities. He loved jumping off the cliffs at the Sluice Boxes State Park and playing at the beach at White Bear. He was a world traveler and had visited California, Washington DC, Massachusetts, Maine, Washington, Thailand, Nigeria, South Africa, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Austria. He recently enjoyed a trip to Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, and The Aquarium of the Pacific, Medieval Times and Santa Ana Zoo where he had the time of his life. He also loved visiting Chico Hot Springs regularly. Last summer he experienced white water rafting, spelunking at Lewis and Clark Caverns and visiting the Museum of the Rockies. In his short life he rode an elephant, petted a shark, held a snake, ate lots of sushi, toured castles, went on safari and lived life to the fullest. Deegan was looking forward to the upcoming baseball season and planned on running three miles in the Ice Breaker Fun Run. His future goals were to wrestle for Great Falls High and play football for the Griz. He will be greatly missed.
