Diane Marie (Andrews) Poor, 74, of Vaughn, MT, left this world July, 13, 2017, to be with her heavenly Father after a courageous fight with cancer.She passed away at Peace Hospice surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family farm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Diane was born to William and Rose Andrews on November 3, 1942 in Great Falls, MT.She was raised and educated in Power, MT.She married Stan Poor on November 29, 1959 in Power.They lived in Great Falls for a short time and then moved to the Fairfield bench where they farmed and ranched for many years. Diane worked numerous jobs including selling Avon, working at A & B Veterinary Services as well as Indian Hammer Veterinary Services in Vaughn. She also worked at the Silver Spur Bar and was a postal worker, both in Vaughn. Diane loved her horses, gardening, yard work, music, camping, collecting Breyer Horses and Carousel Music Horses. She especially loved Christmas Eves at her home surrounded by family and friends.However, her biggest passion was being a mom and eventually a grandma. She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and of the American Simmental Association. Diane will always be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mom, grandma, aunt, sister and friend.Everyone who met her was touched by her loving kindness. Diane is survived by her life partner of 23 years, Tim Jermunson of Vaughn, MT; daughters Angela (Gary Cook) Poor of Sun Prairie, MT and Kate (Kory) Jermunson Chartier of Sand Coulee, MT; sons Jeff (Teresa) Poor of Sun River, MT and Wade (Gayla) Poor of Tonaph AZ; sister Judy (Ron) Radovich of Great Falls, MT; brother Dan (Laille) Andrews of Power MT; eight grandchildren, Nicole Stone, Brian Cook and Rikki (David) Flaherty of Great Falls,Travis (Ashley) Poor of Sun River, MT, Jessica Poor of Tonapah, AZ, and Kole, Kenadee and Kandee Charteir of Sand Coulee MT; seven great grandchildren, Owen, Hudson, Simon Flaherty of Great Falls MT, and Drue Jessee of Casper WY, Breanna, Braydan, and Bristal Poor of Sun River, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her parents William Andrews, Rose (Richard) Andrews Dirkes; husband Stan Poor; brother Dean Andrews; and sister Jan Thomas.
