Douglas Ray Poe

Douglas Ray Poe, 54, of Great Falls, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at Peace Hospice. A private family service will be held at a later date. Doug was born March 28, 1961 at Johnson A.F.B. in Japan to Sam and Darlene Poe. Doug was a kind, loving, gentle and sweet soul. He will be missed by many. He was a proud veteran. He loved to fish, water ski, and go camping. Doug is survived by his sisters Joanie (Ken) Kiser, Jackie Poe, Roxann Poe, Dawn (Jerry) Denegar, and Deseree (Tom) Dubay; brother Sammy Poe; nieces Samantha Leathers, Rachel Poe; nephews Lucas Poe-Kiser, Tyler Ophus; and a great nephew and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Darlene Poe. We would like to thank Dr. Margaris and staff for taking such good care of Doug. Also Benefis Peace Hospice for all the comfort and kindness given our brother and for helping our family through this difficult time.
