Earl Henry Bodner, 80, of Great Falls, went to be with the Lord, August 16, 2016. Please join the family in celebrating Earl’s life at the Emerson Head Start Gym at 1220 3rd Ave S., Saturday, August 20th from 3-6pm. Please bring a food dish if you would like. He was born in Havre, MT on September 12, 1935. Earl moved to VA when he was 25 where he met and married his first wife, Judy Willis. They had 5 children together during their 20 years of marriage. Earl and Judy moved to MT in 1962 where they raised their children and traveled the state playing country music with their band, Starlite Ramblers. In 1980, they divorced but remained best friends. He was married to Catherine Porsborg before he met his soulmate Joyce Eng. He had various jobs which included: The Black Eagle Anaconda , diesel mechanic, truck driver, welder and a ranch hand. Earl’s passion was playing guitar and singing gospel and country western music. He is survived by four daughters, Robin (Larry) Clyde, Brenda (John) Figarelle, Teresa (Darcy) Yakoweshen, Lynda (Chris) Nygard; nine grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister, son Earl Jr., and wife Joyce Bodner. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Peace Hospice.
