Jones graduated high school and ventured off to a career in the United States Air Force. Edward spent 20 years traveling the world and serving in the World’s Greatest Air Force. He retired as an E-5 and settled in Great Falls, Montana. After working 20 years, he worked another 27 years at Ryan’s Warehouse and it became a home away from home for him. He worked with one of his best friends, Dale Specht and others, at the warehouse and continued a lifetime friendship with them. Ryan’s had a huge impact in his life. He never missed a day of work and was committed and dedicated to provide for his family. Edward was passionate about God and his testimony exemplified his dedication. He worked many years at the Great Falls Rescue Mission preaching and teaching at the Church of What’s Happening Now. He has headed up The Rainbow Warrior Project, which is an advocate program for individuals overcoming addictions. He had a passion for reaching back and helping young men with the Men’s Ministry. He also held leadership position such as the Sunday School Superintendent and the Lay Organization President. His most cherished role though, was the First Gentleman of Union Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church. He loved God, his wife, his kids and his friends; he also enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts. Edwards D. Jones has 10 children and 16 grandchildren. His first wife Pearl Teresa Broom Jones birthed his two daughters Candice Williams of Springfield, Mass and Carmen Jones-Greenberg of Springfield, Mass. He remarried Isabella Erickson and she had six children of her own: Irene Huerta, Cutie Martinez, Barb Kinney, Art Erickson, Paul Erickson, and Mark Erickson. His present wife, Pastor Anna L. Jones, has two daughters; Zsane’ Ebonie Noel and Stephanie SueAnn Williams. He will be truly missed by his family. Edward D. Jones and Pastor Anna L. Jones had a great relationship. He always made sure that she came first and made his love known to her. He was the love of her life; her soul mate. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife Pastor Anna L. Jones, 10 of his children 16 of his grandchildren, and his longtime friends Frank Ghee, Gary and Cathy Schoenthal, Dale Specht, Dwight Agrimson and Fritz Seitz. He was preceded in death by his father, Dorsey Jones; his mother Florie Jones and his prior two wives. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, words of encouragements and gifts. May God Bless You. Donations may be sent to Union Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
