Eleanor (Mielke) Seaburg, 84, of Great Falls passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at her home of natural causes. Funeral services will be Monday, November 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, with burial of ashes to follow at Highland Cemetery. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. Eleanor was born May 24, 1929 in Aberdeen, SD to Robert and Hattie (Mittag) Mielke. In September of 1949 she married John E. Seaburg in Wahpeton, ND. Eleanor worked for the Great Falls School District as a food server and cook from 1978-1993. The position she took the most pride in throughout the years was that of a homemaker and mother of eight amazing children. Eleanor enjoyed singing in the choir at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church where she was a member for many years. Eleanor also loved traveling in her motor home. Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Betty (Allan) Hauer of Great Falls, Susan Mammen of Orange, TX, and Barbara (Dan) Sibert of Sun Prairie; sons John (Bonnie) Seaburg, Ron (Elaine) Seaburg, and Mike (Susan) Seaburg all of Great Falls, and Fred (Lisa) Seaburg of Columbus, OH; sister-in-law Elaine Mielke of Bloomington, MN; 17 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren with two on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Seaburg; parents Robert and Hattie Mielke; son Jim Seaburg; infant triplet sister and infant triplet brother; one brother; two sisters; and son-in-law Nick Mammen.
