Elizabeth "Dolores" Brower

May 5, 1936 — March 15, 2023

Elizabeth “Dolores” Brower passed away in her Great Falls home on March 15, 2023, due to heart failure.

Dolores was born to Roberta and Art Newberry in Verdon, Oklahoma on May 5, 1936. She attended school in Sunol and Pleasanton, California. Dolores was the best Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Friend, and Neighbor one could hope for. She was devoted, gracious, loving, caring, and charitable to all. She was a Child of her Most High GOD and trusted in HIM from an early age. She really was the most loving and gracious Mother and Grandmother we could hope for.

Dolores married Donald Pierce in 1954. They had 7 children in the span of 11 years, Debbie, Keith, Ronnie, Russell, Mark, Artie, and Kay. Unfortunately, they divorced in 1965. A man named Jesse Brower (Angels Camp, CA) just happened to come along and discovered a beautiful lady with a bunch of hungry kids living way out in the boonies in the foothills of central California. They fell in love and were married in 1966. Jesse had 3 children of his own, Linda, Daryl, and Rhonda. Dolores was passionately political and charitable. She was always willing to share her "right" side of the story. If you ever drove behind her car or past her home, you had no doubt where she stood (for GOD and Country). Her home was filled pictures, paintings, and prints of her affections: family, faith, nature, cowboys, animals, Presidents, and horse racing. She supported multiple charities and causes for many years.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Roberta Newberry; husband, Jesse Brower; children, Keith Pierce, Russell Pierce, Kay Brower (Pierce), Linda Brower, Rhonda Brower, and Daryl Brower. She is survived by brother, Larry Newberry; children, Deborah Merritt (Pierce), Ronald Pierce, Mark Pierce, and Art Pierce; along with 23 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Service and reception at 1 pm Saturday, April 1, West Side United Methodist, 726 Central Ave W, Great Falls, MT 59404.
