Elizabeth David Hofer

Elizabeth David Hofer, 78, of Carter passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at her residence. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at the Twin Hills Colony with burial to follow at Twin Hills Cemetery. Elizabeth was born in New Dayton, Alberta, Canada on October 26, 1936to Jacob and Elizabeth Waldner. She was a kindergarten teacher for 21 years at the Glendale Colony and was a caregiver for many family members over the years. Elizabeth is survived by her, daughter Helen Hofer; sons David (Sarah) Hofer, Jacob Hofer, Peter (Susanna) Hofer, John (Michelle) Hofer, and Tom (Lisa) Hofer, sister Peter Susie Wipf; brothers Rev. John J. Waldner and Joseph J Waldner; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David P. Hofer; daughter Elisabeth D. Hofer; parents Jacob and Elizabeth Waldner; brother Jacob J. Waldner; sisters Jacob Mary Hofer, Jacob Rebecca Kleinser, and John Annie Wipf. Mom could make your day with her beautiful smile and will be missed by all.
