Elizebeath Joan Romig, 62, of Fort Benton, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at a local care facility. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at O’Connor Memorial Chapel, followed by interment at Manchester Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home. Elizebeath was born May 29, 1954 in Great Falls, to Frederick Romig Sr. and Ann Josephson. She was raised in the area around Great Falls, graduating from Turner High School. Elizebeath and Rollin R. Grey III were married for 19 years and they had two children together. She worked many jobs throughout her life and at one time attended Dahl’s Beauty College. She spent many years working at Easter Seals where she priced and sized everything for the Goodwill Store. Elizebeath had a variety of hobbies and interests. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and John Wayne; she enjoyed painting ceramics and fuzzy posters, too. Elizebeath is survived by daughter Michelle Hauer; son Rollin R. Grey IV; sister Barb Saville; grandchildren Nick Grey, Michael Sowell, and Jessica Grey; and great-grandson Flynn Masterson-Sowell. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Frederick Romig Jr.; and sister June White.
