Eugene Russell Bourg Sr.

Eugene Russell Bourg, Sr., 67, of Great Falls, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Benefis. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at O’Connor Memorial Chapel, followed by interment at Highland Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home. Eugene was born in Great Falls on August 18, 1949 to Joseph and Ruth Bourg. He attended Great Falls High School, graduating in 1968. After graduating, he served in the U.S. Army including two tours in Vietnam. Eugene attended Great Falls College for 3 years and then entered a career in accounting. He was night auditor for Super 8 for over 15 years. Eugene collected eagle and Native American art and enjoyed camping road trips with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; daughters Melissa May, Michelle May and Amanda (Ted) Courchane; sons Dave May, Gene (Malinda) Bourg Jr. and Harrold Bourg; and twelve grandchildren. Eugene is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Louis and George.
