Florence E. Vargas

Florence E. Vargas, 77 of Great Falls passed away on December 27, 2018.Arrangements are being handled by O’Connor Funeral Home. No services will take place. Florence was born in Whitehall, MT on May 29, 1941. Her family moved to Great Falls and she attended Longfellow School. The family moved to Caldwell, ID where she graduated from high school. She attended Boise State University and then started working for Simplot Corporation. In 1970, Florence married Ramiro Vargas and they divorced in 1980 but remained friends. In 2003, Florence returned to Great Falls. Florence enjoyed sewing, quilting, drawing, decorating, cooking and all things artistic. Florence is survived by her ex-husband, Ramiro Vargas; daughter Carlotta Jo Owens; sons Douglas Earl Owens and Danny James Owens. She was preceded in death by her parents.
