Gabe Otto Neujahr

Gabe Otto Neujahr, 45, of Great Falls, went to join his heavenly Father on Friday, April 6, 2018. A graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Gabe was born on January 26, 1973 to Terry Neujahr and Judith DeBelle in Aurora, Colorado. He graduated from CMR High School in Great Falls, Montana. He then joined the US Navy, where he honorably served our country.Gabe was a BU1 (Petty Officer) in the United States Navy (Seabee) for 20 years. After retiring from naval service, Gabe could not wait to move back to his home state of Montana where he enjoyed hiking, fishing, camping and adventures in the mountains. He also enjoyed rock collecting, photography and was very artistic. After receiving an associate degree on-line, Gabe was working towards his bachelor degree in wildlife biology at the University of Providence. He adored his kids and family and became active at Harvest Springs Community Church in its audio/visual aspect. He was active in their group Bible studies which he enjoyed greatly. He loved serving friends, family and neighbors and it brought him great joy to make someone smile. He is survived by his children A’sdis Hrefna Laufeyjardo’ttir, Geana Neujahr, Jonathan Isaiah Neujahr and Sierra Neujahr; mother Judith Bengtson; step-dad Bradford Bengtson; sister Ingrid (Karl) Ryder and brothers Donovan (Sarah) Neujahr and Paul (Christina) Neujahr as well as 10 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Terry Neujahr and his sister Gina Neujahr.
