Gladys June Brown

Gladys June Brown, 80, of Great Falls, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. A private family burial will take place in Sentinel Butte, North Dakota at a later date.

Gladys was born in Ogden, UT on September 8, 1942, to Reginal and Velma (Tucker) Starkey. She married Darrel while he was in the Air Force. She was an active mom and worked at several jobs over the years while moving from base to base while Darrel was serving his country. He retired from the service at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls where they made their home. They lived here for over 50 years.

She participated in scouting activities, loved camping, and was especially happy when she was doing things for her family. She will be greatly missed.

Gladys was survived by her husband of 59 years, Darrel; son, David Brown; three grandsons, Darrel, Jason, and Travis Naillon; four great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters; brothers; and loving daughter, Arlene Marie Brown Naillon.
