Glenda J. "Bing" Salois

Glenda J. Salois “Bing” 70, passed away on February 4, 2018 from complications of heart surgery. A memorial service will be on Monday, February 19, 2018 11:00 a.m. at O'Connor Memorial Chapel, 2425 8th Ave N, Great Falls. Arrangements are in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home. Glenda was born on April 9, 1947 to George and Rebecca Salois.She grew up attending schools in Box Elder and Havre.She was one of fourteen siblings. Bing raised five children, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bing loved watching basketball games and attending Carroll College football games.Through any blizzard or storm, she always made it front row to watch her grandkids play basketball.She enjoyed bingo, gambling and playing pinochle with Terry, Blue and Becky.In Bing's retirement years, she looked forward to a visit from her brother Lee, who would bring her the daily newspaper and chat over a cup of coffee.Anything that anyone ever needed; a home, ride, phone call, food, visit, hug, or even a tongue lashing Bing always provided. She is survived by her children, Lori Parisian, Shelly (Orville) Lamere, and Leo (Chris) Duran; grandchildren she raised as her own children, Georgie (LJ Bauer) Russell, LeeAnn Duran, Justin (Sasha) Lamere, Tommy Jo Henderson, Jaelynn Duran, Cameron and Clint Boggs; sisters Terry Salois and Leoda (Ken) Oliver; brothers John (Kristine) Salois, Lee (Paulette) Salois, and Joe (Babbs) Salois; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, nine siblings, her daughters Kimberly and Carol Duran and her special friend Murray Harwood. Our hearts hurt for the loss of this wonderful woman.So many people will forever miss “Grandma Bing.”
