Gordon Clyde Kidrick Sr. passed away April 8, 2022, from traumatic injuries suffered as a result of a vehicle accident. Gordon was born August 16, 1930, in Tomah, WI to Helen and James Kidrick. He served in the United States Air Force for six years and on April 27, 1951, married Leila Schuff. Gordon was a loving husband and father. He was a hard worker at the Anaconda Company and always had a side job. Christmas Eves were special because it brought the kids and grandkids together. Many of his kids/grandkids emulated him by playing the guitar and singing classic country songs. Annual summer camp trips to Wood Lake brought everyone together again with singing around the campfire until wee hours of the morning, thereby just carrying on an old family tradition. Gordon was an avid golfer and had two holes in one. Every day he walked at the West Bank. Gordon left a void that will be hard to fill. He is survived by Leila, his wife of 71 years; daughters, Linda Seifert (Ray) Redding, Colleen (Joe) Budeski LeLievre, and Denise (Steve) Harmon; sister, Maxine Bernhardt; brother, Ralph Kidrick; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
