Grace Adeline Komotios

Grace Adeline Komotios, 89, of Missoula, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 from natural causes at Auburn Valley Medical Center in Auburn, WA surrounded by her family. Visitation will be Monday, March 28, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at O’Connor Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Grace was born January 18, 1927 in Wolf Point, Montana and raised in Great Falls, Montana. That is where she also had nine children of her own. Grace moved her children to Seattle, Washington in 1967, where she worked in the restaurant industry alongside her sister and her daughters. Grace continued to raise children throughout her entire life. She loved being surrounded by her family, she was most definitely known as the head of the family, and the caretaker. She also loved playing bingo and watching her favorite show, The Young and the Restless. Grace is survived by her daughters, Carmen Hernandez, Reine Komotios, and Beatrice (Komotios) Garrison all of Seattle, WA; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one great great-grandchild on the way. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Malatarre and Emma Daniels; sister Evelyn Rose Jones; her children, Daniel Joseph Campbell, Sr., Cecil James Hernandez, Antonio Carlos Hernandez, Sr., William John Komotios, Sr., Evelyn Christine Komotios and Cynthia Ann Komotios.
