Grace Myers

Grace Agatha Myers, 87, of Great Falls passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. No services will be held. Internment will take place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. Grace was born on November 15, 1928 in Billings. She was raised in the area and graduated from Billings High School in 1946. After graduation she went on to work for Consolidated Freight Ways in Billings and Glendive. She also worked for the State of Montana Veteran Services and General Mills in Great Falls. Grace owned her own secretarial service for a time before working as a Legal Secretary for Leo Graybill. She then became an Executive Secretary for United Savings Bank before reaching her goal of retirement. Grace was an avid reader of anything that the author John Grisham published and loved all animals, especially cats. Grace is survived by her close friends, Colleen Downham, Karen Kohm, Tom and Connie Winjum, Stacy Jarvey all of Great Falls and Udell Eby of San Jose, CA; and her beloved cat Samson. She was preceded in death by her parents Royal Elsworth Myers and Katherine Ella (Lardy) Myers; brother George Roy Myers; and numerous cats which were her “children.” In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any animal shelter or animal rescue organization of your choice.
