Harris Leighton Kallestad

Harris Leighton Kallestad, 73, of Great Falls, died of heart failure on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Benefis. Private services have been held. Cremation has been in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home. Harris was born September 17, 1943 in Great Falls to Magne and Hilda Mork Kallestad. Harris grew up in Great Falls graduating from Great Falls High School in 1961. Harris spent most of his working career in sales of hardware and building materials. He enjoyed playing golf, green lawns, red trucks, and woodworking. Harris is survived by his wife and best friend of 46 years, Jan Kallestad. Memorials may be given to Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 1326 1st Avenue N., Great Falls MT 59401, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
