Harvey Earl Dustrude Sr, 86, of Great Falls, died of natural causes Saturday, Feb. 16, at Northern Montana Care Center in Havre. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at OConnor Funeral Home. Funeral liturgy is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at St. Anns Cathedral. Burial with military honors will follow at Highland Cemetery. OConnor Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Harvey attended schools in Wood, S.D., then joined the Marine Corps during World War II. He served in the Palaus Campaign, Okinawa and the Occupation of China. Following his discharge he returned to Montana and worked in construction. He was a teamster for the City of Great Falls. After his retirement he worked for the Great Falls Food Bank. He was a member of St. Anns Cathedral. Harvey is survived by his son, Harvey E. Rusty Dustrude Jr. of Havre; a sister, Dorothy Marie Hudson of Rapid City, S.D.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
