Irena Keller, 73, of Great Falls passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Peace Hospice surrounded by all of her children, who will always love and cherish her memory. Per Irena’s request no services are being planned. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Irena was born to Anton and Olga (Kandrachuk) Boilek on May 5, 1940 in Dragon, Poland near Krakow. Irena’s parents and siblings are survivors of the World War II work camps in Germany. Irena loved her family and devoted her time and energy joyfully to them all her life. Irena enjoyed being surrounded by the beauty of nature. She loved to fish and treasured time working in her flower garden. She is survived by daughters, Lavida Steele, Rhonda (Roy) Worth, Kelly (Ron) Ouellet, and Colleen (Wilber) Dean; son Shawn (Pam) McGrath; sister Gina Micalos; brother Bernie Boilek; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband Ronald McGrath; second husband Bernard Keller; sisters, Freda Simonson, Mary Scelton, and Emilia Entz; brother Richard Boilek; and daughter Kathleen McGrath. Memorials are suggested to Peace Hospice.
