James "Jim" W. Dooner

It is with great sadness that the family of James W “Papa Jim” Dooner announces his passing at his home on February 4th, 2016 at the age of 77. Funeral liturgy will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Cathedral. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements. He was born Feb 11, 1938 and raised in Malta, Montana, where he married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Faye Cauffman in 1958. He enlisted in the Navy and started a family. He served for 20 years and retired as a Senior Chief. Jim is survived by his children, Phyllis (Rick Lyytinen) Reynolds of Three Forks; Pamela Dooner of Everett, WA; Penny Dooner of Everett, WA; Mike (Vonnie) Dooner of Layton, UT; Patty (John) VanHoudt of Olathe, KS; and Phalynda (Keith) Lusnia of Great Falls; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye; brothers Gary, Bubby and Donnie; and sisters Phyllis and Mary Ann all from Malta.
