James "Jim" Pascal

December 11, 1925 — January 15, 2017

James “Jim” Pascal, 91, of Great Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Peace Hospice. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, 3809 6th Ave. S., Great Falls. Cremation is through O’Connor Funeral Home. Jim was born on December 11, 1925 in New Britain, Connecticut. He attended school in Connecticut and went on to serve in the Army Air Corp as a radio operator. He met Doris Stevens and they married July 3, 1949 in Poplar, Montana. After being discharged, Jim worked as an accountant and worked in the construction field. He was a member of the Exchange Club and a faithful member of the Sunrise Presbyterian Church in Great Falls. He was known around town as the “Candy Man”, because everywhere he went he gave candy to everyone around. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and was a general handyman to many people. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Doris Pascal of Great Falls, MT; son Steve (Debbie) Pascal of Billings, MT; daughter Susan (Ron) McCullough of Helena, MT; brother Joe Pascal of New Britain, CT; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his son, Jim Pascal Jr. and his parents.
