Jared Micah Mortensen

Jared Micah Mortensen, loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather, passed away at the age of 55, on Friday, April 8th, 2022, in Great Falls, MT. He was born to Connie Lee Mikesell and Jesse Anivar Mortensen II on November 21st, 1966, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Ann Marie "Star" Mortensen on December 31st, 1989, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Micah was preceded in death by his mother, Connie; brother, Jesse Anivar Mortensen III; and grandson, Ethan Scott Burke. He is survived by his father, Jesse; brothers, James and Jay Mortensen; wife, Ann Marie Mortensen; children, Jared (Lisa) Anderson, Sarah (Cody Cox) Mortensen, Eli (Stephanie) Burke, and Vaniea (Tim) Reese; grandchildren, Dakota, Brooklyn, Tyler, Wesley, Liam, Emma and Max; nephew, Joseph Ball; and many others. Micah enjoyed fishing (especially with his grandchildren), skiing, bowling, camping, making campfires, boxing, and football. One of his favorite things was coffee from a campfire. He was silly, and he also gave the best hugs and smiles! He touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. The day Micah discovered how to use a cellphone, he never quit texting his loved ones, to say "I love you." He loved all his grandchildren very much! We love you Grandpa! You were taken too soon. Catch all the big fish for us in heaven.
