Jeanette C. Simmons

Jeanette C Simmons, 83, of Great Falls passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 of natural causes in Great Falls. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 6 pm at O’Connor Memorial Chapel followed by a rosary service beginning at 7 pm. Funeral liturgy will take place on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 11 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Black Eagle with burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Services are being handled by O’Connor Funeral Home. Jeanette was born on August 30, 1930 in Little Falls, MN to Harold and Jeanette Simmons. She graduated from the College of Great Falls with a bachelor’s degree as a Registered Medical Technologist. She went to work at the Deaconess Hospital in pathology before moving on to work as the Director of Laboratory for the American Red Cross in Great Falls. Jeanette is survived by her sister Patricia Matsko. Proceeded in death by her parents and sister Donna O’Connell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Great Falls Rescue Mission.
