Jerry’s unforgettable spirit left us on March 21, 2015. There will be a celebration of life for Bondo on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Eagles Lodge located at 1501 9th Street South. Please come and share your stories of this loved and unforgettable man. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. Jerry was born September 24, 1939 in Minot, ND to Pete and Della Bonderenko. He moved to Havre in 1954, where he graduated from Havre High School. In 1958, he moved to Great Falls. Jerry proudly served with the Montana Air National Guard for 33 years. After retiring from the military he went to work for Napa Auto Parts. Jerry was a big Nascar fan, with Dale Earnhardt being his driver. This went along with is passion for classic cars and Busch Lite. He was an accomplished state ranked pool player, a talent that he passed on to both of his children. He was a big fan of the Miami Dolphins. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Bridget (Kent) Brooks of Spokane, WA; son Wayne (Jennifer) Bonderenko of Great Falls; grandchildren Taylor Harlan of Dickinson, ND, Danielle (Matt) Edwards of Moscow, ID, Chris Bonderenko of Spokane, WA; great-grandson Connor Bonderenko of Post Falls, ID; special friend Rita of Great Falls; extended second family Charlie (Deana) Leiby, Bernadette (Matthew) Hemingway, and their children, Zackary, Matilda, Elijah, and Levi all of Carson City, NV, Mary and Kurt Fagenstrom and Judy (Jack) Thody all of Great Falls; and Charlie and Deana’s son Cooper, who was his favorite playmate. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Della Bonderenko; and his special pooch, Roo.
