Jesse H. Brower

Jesse H. Brower, 87, of Great Falls, passed away on January 14, 2018. Jesse was born January 24, 1930 on the Brower Ranch just outside of Angels Camp, California to Harry Brower and Jessie Cresswell (Voinich) Brower. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Bill Brower, Tom Brower and Bob Brower; sisters Olive Wells and Nancy Moss; children Keith Pierce, Russell Pierce and Kay Brower. Jesse is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dolores Brower of Great Falls, MT; children Linda Lawrence, Debbie Pierce, Daryl Brower, Ron Pierce, Rhonda Fee, Mark Pierce and Art Pierce; and sister Jean Johnson of Murphys, CA. Jesse was a lifelong outdoorsman. He enjoyed many activities from fishing in the ocean to hunting in the mountains and everything in between. Jesse also had a lifelong passion for horses. He trained, showed and provided valuable advice on horsemanship, to many throughout his life. In keeping with his love of the outdoors, Jesse spent 37 years in a career with the California Division of Forestry. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
