Joan Margaret Reinbold Heser Cook, 82, passed away Tuesday January 30, 2018. A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 332 Riverview 3 W. Arrangements are in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home. Joan was born August 26, 1935 in Glasgow, MT to Pete and Elsie Reinbold. In 1952 she married Leland Heser and they had Connie, Duane, and Daniel. On October 12, 1967 she married the love of her life Darrel Cook, combining their families to also include Natalie and Dan. Darrel and Joan enjoyed 50 years of marriage. She had several jobs throughout her life but her favorite role as her kids grew up was being the neighborhood mom while living in Riverview She also enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and gardening. She was a very creative artist excelling in drawing, painting, embroidery, needle point, crocheting, sewing, ceramics and leather working. She quilted with her friends at Redeemer until recently when she had to stop due to declining health. She is survived by her husband Darrel; their children Connie (Bert) Crawford, Belgrade, MT, Duane (Sandy) Heser, Great Falls, MT, Natalie (Richard) Johns, Rochester, MN, Daniel Heser, Missoula MT, and Peggy Cook, Missoula MT; her twin brother Gene (Nancy) Reinbold, Grand Junction, CO; grandchildren Daryl (Brandy), Teresa (Barry), Kristen (Ky), Rachel (Tracy), Amy, Kyle, Aaron, Tim, Ashley, Jacob, and Jesse; great grandchildren Shyanne, Katlin, Keegan, Paige, Olivia, Lily, Ember, Corbin and Taetyn; one great-great grandchild Malakhi; also special in her heart were her nephews Dave (Sue) Renner and Larry Renner; and nieces Donna Peterson and Noela Custer. She was preceded in death by her son Dan Cook; her parents Peter and Elsie; sister Irene Carlson; brother Bill Reinbold; and first husband Leland Heser.
