Joan D'Antuono

Beloved Mother and Grandmother Ellen Joan DAntuono, 76, of Great Falls, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 from natural causes at Bee Hive Homes of Great Falls. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. OConnor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Joan was born January 14, 1940 in Rolla, ND and was raised in Great Falls, MT. She received her diploma from Great Falls High School and attended both the University of Montana and the College of Great Falls where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in History. She married Louis DAntuono, Jr in 1965. They had one son Louis John DAntuono, III. Joan and Louis later divorced but remained lifelong friends. Joan worked 36 years as a budget analyst for Malmstrom AFB before she retired. Joan was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes parish, an avid reader and enjoyed quilting and crafting. Joan participated in the Christmas Collection at Paris Gibson Museum for many years. Joan is survived by her son Louis (Rhona) John DAntuono, III of Great Falls; sister Carmelia Rossi of Spokane; grandchildren Darian DAntuono and Alex DAntuono of Great Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Agnes Lambert and brother-in-law John Rossi.
