Joanne Brick “Punks” Holman, 93, of Great Falls, MT and formerly of Seattle, WA, a retired registered nurse, passed away September 19, 2017 from natural causes at Grandview Cottages in Great Falls. Punks was born August 21, 1924 in Monarch, MT and attended Great Falls High School.She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and was active in care giving most of her working life. Punks was intensely passionate about God and Family.She had the determination of a young woman, and had a stubborn streak to go with it.Punks insisted on her independent life style, even at 93. Punks loved the outdoors and was the happiest when sitting around the campfire surrounded by family in her hometown of Monarch.She was a huge sports fan and loved her Seattle Seahawks and Mariners.Punks loved music and dance and taught Hawaiian dance to hundreds of kids. Punks is survived by her two sons, Frank Holman of Seattle and James Holman of Tacoma, Washington; daughter-in-law Marti Holman; grandchildren Jason, Jessica, Karla, and Leela; great-grandchildren Marina, Duke, Aide and Maya; nephews Jerry and Tim Taylor; and loved by so many including Sue Holman, Pat and Anne Hall, Jacob, Matt, Louie and neighbors Pat and Jennifer and niece Jeannie and nephew David.
