John Henry Davis

John Henry Davis, 81, of Great Falls, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020, at Mount Olive Christian Fellowship followed by burial at Highland Cemetery with military honors. He was born on May 18, 1939, in Houston, Texas. He went to school at Jack Yates followed by 20 years in the US Air Force. He worked for the US Postal Service until he retired. John was a deacon at Mount Olive Christian Fellowship. He was active in the community always helping anyone and everyone. He loved fishing, watching football, baseball, and basketball. He enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and following politics. He is survived by his niece, Nancy Duncan also of Houston, Texas; nephew, Rudolph Williams of Great Falls; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Duncan; Rudolph Williams, and Paul Lamare; and mother, Florence.
