Joseph E. Duvall, 83, Great Falls passed away October 2, 2018 at a local hospital. A gathering of friends and family will be held at 4 pm Saturday at the Craig Bar in Craig. Joseph was born January 5, 1935 in Fort Benton, Montana. He was the son of Earl and Sylvia Duvall of Geraldine. After graduating from Helena High School, Joseph attended Aeronautics and Electronics School in Helena and received his certification. He was united in marriage to Juanita Shorow in 1953 in Helena. He began working for Frontier Airlines and retired after 30 years. He and Juanita bought the Craig Bar and he later was a partner in Uncle Joe’s Oasis Restaurant and Bar in Wolf Creek.He continued to operate both places until his passing. Joseph is survived by his wife, Juanita Duvall of Great Falls;daughter Lexie Duvall and her husband Eric Moore of Missoula; son Mark J and his wife Sue Duvall of Boulder, CO; grandchildren Jacob (Debbie) Schiller, Erik Schiller and Kari Schiller; great-grandchildren Khloe and Daylin Nash; brother Lenni (Kay) Duvall of Geraldine; andnumerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Betty McManaman and Earlene Duvall; and brother Earl Duvall, Jr.
