It is with great sadness that our beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family.
Joseph was born March 31, 1945, in Magrath, Alberta. He moved to Montana at 7 years old. Joseph, in his younger years, was a carpenter and farm manager. He then was the colony secretary for 22 years. He was a farmer at heart and loved to take care of the land that God gave us.
His honesty, integrity, and love for the Lord, and living the true example of the Hutterite way of life is the legacy that he left behind and will remain in our hearts. His memory will live on in the hearts of the children he loved to teach every morning in recent years.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Annie Waldner; children, Don (Nella), Joe (Glenda), Will (Barbara), Nella (Joe), Leah (Paul), Glenn, and Dina; brothers, Elias (Justina) and Mike (Elizabeth); sisters, Sara (Sam) and Susie (John); and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elias and Mary, and numerous brothers and sisters.
He will be greatly missed by the countless lives he touched.
Rest in peace, Father, we so dearly love you.
